After Iman Gives Her $50K, Shayla TELLS Anthony: I Want a DIVORCE — My Man Can Take Care of Me & Kai!🔥
[Scene opens in Shayla’s kitchen — tension in the air. She’s counting Iman’s $50K cash on the counter when Anthony walks in.]
Anthony: (staring at the stack of money) What’s all this, Shayla? You hitting the lottery behind my back now?
Shayla: (calm but firm) No lottery. Just somebody who actually listens when I talk about what I need.
Anthony: (frowns) What you mean “somebody”? Don’t play with me, Shayla.
Shayla: I’m not playing. Iman gave me this. Fifty thousand dollars. Said it’s for me and Kai — so we can finally breathe.
Anthony: (laughs bitterly) Oh, that’s what we doing now? Taking money from another man? You think that makes you independent? Nah, that makes you bought.
Shayla: (steps closer, eyes blazing) No, Anthony. It makes me free. For once, I don’t have to beg nobody to help me. Iman did more for me in one day than you’ve done in a year.
Anthony: (angry) Don’t go there, Shayla. Don’t disrespect me like that. You forget who you married. I’m still your husband.
Shayla: (takes a deep breath) Not for long. Because I’m done pretending, Anthony. I want a divorce.
Anthony: (in disbelief) What? You serious right now? After everything we been through?
Shayla: (nods slowly) Dead serious. Iman’s been there for me… for Kai. He doesn’t just talk — he shows up. He believes in me, in us.
Anthony: (voice rising) “Us”? You saying “us” like you and him some kind of family now?
Shayla: (calmly) Maybe one day we will be. Because my man — the one who actually cares — can take care of both Kai and me.
Anthony: (slams his hand on the counter) You out your damn mind, Shayla! That man playing you! He flashing cash, and you falling for it like a teenager!
Shayla: (unbothered) Believe what you want. But I know peace when I feel it. And this — (points to the money) — this ain’t about cash. It’s about security. Something you never gave me.
Anthony: (hurt, pacing) So you done with me over some money and a man with smooth words?
Shayla: (shakes head) No, Anthony. I’m done because you stopped trying. You stopped seeing me. And when another man saw me struggling, he stepped up. You didn’t.
Anthony: (quietly) So that’s it? That’s how our story ends?
Shayla: (softly but firm) Yeah. That’s it. You wanted control, I wanted peace. Now I got both — without you.
[Anthony stares at her one last time, speechless. Shayla turns away, picks up Kai’s toy from the floor, and walks toward the door.]
Shayla: (over her shoulder) Don’t worry about Kai. He’s good. We’re good now.
[Music fades in — slow, emotional beat.]
