Finally Anthony Received the Kai DNA test ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

[Scene: Anthony sits at the kitchen table, holding an envelope with shaking hands. Amber walks in, instantly sensing the tension.]

Amber: (concerned) Anthony… what’s that in your hand? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.

Anthony: (voice low) It’s the DNA report… for Kai.

Amber: (gasps) Wait—what? You finally got it? Oh my God, open it! What does it say?

Anthony: (hesitates, staring at the envelope) I don’t even know if I want to. This paper… it changes everything, Amber.

Amber: Baby, you can’t just sit there. You’ve been waiting on this for months. Open it. We need the truth.

Anthony: (slowly rips the seal, unfolds the report, eyes darting) …

Amber: (leans in) Anthony? What does it say? Don’t keep me hanging.

Anthony: (reading aloud, voice trembling) “Probability of Paternity: 0%.”

Amber: (hands over mouth) Oh… my… God.

Anthony: (drops paper on the table, leans back in shock) He’s not mine. Kai’s not my son.

Amber: (sits beside him, clutching his hand) Anthony, I—I don’t even know what to say.

Anthony: (angrily slams fist on the table) All this time, Amber! I gave Shayla everything. I stepped up, I sacrificed, I loved that boy like my own. And now? This paper just rips it all away.

Amber: (softly) Baby, don’t let this paper erase what you built with Kai. DNA or not, you’ve been his father. That bond is real.

Anthony: (shaking head) But Shayla… she lied to me. She let me believe this whole time. She looked me dead in the eyes and swore Kai was mine.

Amber: (firmly) That’s the part you should be angry at—Shayla, not Kai. He’s innocent. He doesn’t know nothing about this.

Anthony: (pacing, clutching his head) How do I even face him now? How do I look at that little boy and pretend like nothing’s changed?

Amber: (stands, holds his shoulders) Because for Kai, nothing has changed. You’re still Anthony. You’re still the one who tucks him in, the one who shows up. Don’t punish him for Shayla’s lies.

Anthony: (tears welling up) But it hurts, Amber. It hurts like hell. To know I gave my heart, my name, my everything… and it wasn’t even mine to begin with.

Amber: (soft voice) Maybe Kai wasn’t your blood, but maybe God sent him to you for a reason. Maybe you were meant to be his protector.

Anthony: (sits down, staring at the report) I don’t even know what to do next. Do I confront Shayla? Do I walk away? Or do I… just keep being there?

Amber: (takes his hand) Whatever you decide, don’t decide it out of anger. Sit with it. Pray on it. Remember—Kai loves you. Don’t let Shayla’s truth destroy the only good thing that came out of this mess.

Anthony: (nods slowly, voice breaking) Kai’s not my son… but he’s my boy. And I’m not ready to let him go.

Amber: (smiles through tears) That’s the man I fell in love with. Strong enough to face the truth, but soft enough to still love anyway.

Anthony: (exhales, clutching the report) This paper… it tells me the truth. But my heart? My heart tells me something else.
