🚨Breaking : Larry Decided To Divorce Bethany After Shaara's Call 😱

[Scene opens in Larry’s living room. The atmosphere is heavy — Larry’s pacing back and forth, phone still in his hand. Bethany’s in the kitchen, humming while cooking, unaware of the storm coming.]

Larry: (running a hand over his face) Man… I can’t keep doing this.

Bethany: (cheerful) What’s wrong, baby? You pacing like you just got some bad news.

Larry: You could call it that. Shaara called me.

Bethany: (pauses, turns off the stove) Shaara? For what? What that woman want with you?

Larry: She ain’t come on no nonsense, Beth. She called me to clear the air. Said she tired of the mess, tired of being painted like she the villain.

Bethany: (sarcastic laugh) Oh please! You really gon’ sit here and let that woman run game on you again?

Larry: Ain’t nobody running game! She told me some things that made me think.

Bethany: Think about what? About her?

Larry: No. About us.

Bethany: Us? Larry, we married. Ain’t no “thinking” left to do. You chose me. You put a ring on this hand. (waves hand with ring)

Larry: Yeah… but choosing you don’t mean I gotta lose myself in the process.

Bethany: Lose yourself? Boy, what is you talking about?

Larry: I been walking around pretending like I’m happy just ‘cause it look good for the world. But inside? I been empty, Beth. Shaara reminded me who I used to be before all this drama.

Bethany: (snaps) Oh, so now Shaara your therapist? She call one time and suddenly she got you rethinking your whole life?

Larry: It ain’t just the call. It’s what she said. She said, “Larry, you can’t heal where you still hurt.”

Bethany: (rolling her eyes) That sound like something off a Pinterest board.

Larry: Nah, it hit different. ‘Cause she right. Every day in this house feel like a performance. You don’t talk to me — you talk at me. We ain’t partners no more, Beth. We competitors.

Bethany: Competitors? Larry, I been the one holding this house down while you out there trying to figure yourself out!

Larry: And in the middle of all that, you stopped being my wife and turned into my warden.

Bethany: (shocked) Excuse me?!

Larry: Yeah. Every move I make, you checking, questioning, judging. I can’t breathe without you thinking I’m up to something.

Bethany: Because half the time, you are up to something, Larry! Don’t act innocent.

Larry: Maybe I was up to something… but that something was trying to feel alive again.

Bethany: (steps closer, furious) You better watch your mouth, ‘cause you walking a dangerous line right now.

Larry: (calm but firm) I already crossed it.

Bethany: What you mean?

Larry: I called my lawyer before you came in here. I’m filing for divorce.

Bethany: (voice trembling) You joking, right? You gon’ throw away our marriage ‘cause of one phone call from her?

Larry: It ain’t just her. It’s me realizing I’ve been living in a lie. I don’t hate you, Beth… but I can’t stay in something that’s killing my peace.

Bethany: (tears forming) After everything I did for you, this how you repay me?

Larry: I’m sorry. But I’d rather be honest now than fake happy for the rest of my life.

Bethany: (screams) Go to her then! Go run back to your little “healer.” See how long she keeps you this time!

Larry: (grabs his jacket) Maybe I will. But for once, it’s my choice — not yours.

(He walks out. The sound of the door slamming echoes through the silence as Bethany sinks to the floor, shaking with anger and heartbreak.)
