Bethany FINDS OUT Brooke Had Isaiah Steal & Sell Her OWN Purse 👛 to Help Her Mom Fix the Car!🔥
[Scene opens in Bethany’s living room. The tension could slice glass. Brooke’s sitting on the couch, fidgeting, while Bethany stands there holding her purse—well, what’s left of it.]
Bethany: Brooke... tell me this ain’t what I think it is.
Brooke: (quietly) Mom, before you get mad—
Bethany: Before I get mad? Girl, I done been mad since last Tuesday when this purse went missing! Now I find out you had Isaiah steal and sell it? You better make it make sense right now.
Brooke: Mom, I was just trying to help. You’ve been stressing about the car—
Bethany: So your bright idea was to turn me into a victim of grand theft auto accessories?!
Brooke: (tearing up) It wasn’t like that! I told Isaiah I needed money fast, and he said he could sell something. I didn’t think he’d actually—
Bethany: (cutting her off) Girl, don’t you lie now. You knew exactly what he was gonna do. Don’t play innocent with me, Brooke Lynn!
Brooke: I swear, I thought he was just gonna pawn it and get it back later!
Bethany: Pawn it? With what money to get it back? You ain’t even paid me back for that Chick-fil-A you ordered last week!
Brooke: Mom, please, I didn’t do it for me. The car’s been breaking down every other day. You missed work twice. I thought... if I could help—
Bethany: (takes a deep breath) Baby, I appreciate that you wanted to help me, but stealing ain’t helping! That’s digging deeper!
Brooke: I know... I messed up.
Bethany: You didn’t just mess up—you dragged your little boyfriend into it, too! Oh, Isaiah think he slick? He out here playing mechanic and thief at the same time?
Brooke: He’s not like that, Mom. He was just trying to help me help you.
Bethany: Oh, he’s “helping” all right—helping you lose your mind!
[Bethany paces back and forth, clutching what’s left of the purse strap.]
Bethany: You really thought I wouldn’t find out? Girl, they posted it online! My purse showed up on Facebook Marketplace for $40! You couldn’t even fake a robbery right!
Brooke: (sniffling) I’m sorry, Mom... I’ll fix it, I promise.
Bethany: Oh, you gon’ fix something alright—starting with that car and your judgment.
Brooke: I’ll talk to Isaiah. He’ll get the money back.
Bethany: He better. Because if not, I’m gonna fix him too—permanently.
Brooke: (softly) I didn’t want you to struggle anymore.
Bethany: And I don’t want you turning into somebody who thinks stealing from family is love. Next time you wanna help me, help me with honesty, not hustle.
[Bethany’s voice softens a little, but her eyes stay sharp.]
Bethany: I love you, Brooke. But we gonna talk about this every day till you learn better.
Brooke: (nods) I get it, Mom. I do.
Bethany: Good. Now go tell Isaiah he better show up with that money—or I’m showing up at his house with this strap... and I don’t mean the purse strap.
[Camera fades as Brooke grabs her phone, realizing she’s got some explaining to do… fast.]
🔥 Prediction: You just know Isaiah’s about to walk into the lion’s den next episode — and something tells me that car ain’t the only thing getting fixed!
