Anthony Warns Shayla: Don't Stop Me, You’ll Lose Kai! and Your Ball Player Can’t Save You This Time!🔥
[Scene: Shayla’s living room. Soft music fades as Anthony walks in unannounced. Shayla’s arms are crossed, clearly irritated.]
Shayla: Anthony, didn’t we just talk about this? You can’t keep showing up here whenever you feel like it.
Anthony: (calm but firm) I called. You didn’t answer. You know I don’t play about Kai.
Shayla: I don’t care! That doesn’t mean you can just walk up in here. You gotta respect my space.
Anthony: Respect? Shayla, I am respecting you. But what I won’t do is let anybody, not even you, stop me from seeing my son.
Shayla: (sighs) Nobody’s stopping you, Anthony. I’ve just asked for boundaries. You can see him, but not like this. You can’t just pop up when I got company.
Anthony: (chuckles sarcastically) Oh, so it’s about your company now? You mean that ball player you got laid up in here?
Shayla: Don’t do that. Don’t disrespect him.
Anthony: I ain’t disrespecting him — I’m just saying, your ball player can’t save you this time. You keep trying to block me from Kai, I’ll take this whole thing to court.
Shayla: (steps closer, eyes sharp) You threatening me now?
Anthony: Call it what you want, but I’m tired of the games. You say you want peace, but every time I try to be a father, you put up walls.
Shayla: You don’t get it. Kai needs stability, not confusion. He can’t see you jumping in and out when it’s convenient.
Anthony: (snaps) Don’t do that! Don’t act like I’m some weekend dad! I’ve been there since day one.
Shayla: (mocking) Oh really? You mean the same “day one” when you were out here trying to figure out what you wanted in life?
Anthony: I figured it out now — and it’s my son. That’s all I’m focused on.
Shayla: Then act like it! Be consistent. Don’t just show up to make a point.
Anthony: Shayla, listen… I’m done arguing. I told you before, don’t test me. I’ll do whatever it takes to keep Kai in my life.
Shayla: You think threatening court is gonna fix this? That’s just gonna make everything messy.
Anthony: Then stop making it hard! Let me be a father. Don’t stop me, or you’ll lose Kai.
Shayla: (eyes widen) Did you just say lose Kai? Wow. So that’s what this is about? Winning?
Anthony: No, it’s about doing what’s right. I’m not fighting you — I’m fighting for him. But if you make me, I’ll fight in court too.
Shayla: (crosses arms, quietly) You really think a judge gonna side with you?
Anthony: (smirks) I got a stable home, resources, and a plan. You got pride and a ball player. You tell me who they’ll side with.
Shayla: (furious) You’re unbelievable, Anthony. You can’t bully your way into being a father.
Anthony: (walks toward the door) I don’t need to bully. I just need to remind you who you’re dealing with. I’m Kai’s father — and that ain’t changing.
[He leaves, slamming the door. Shayla exhales sharply, torn between anger and fear.]
[Music fades out.]
