Business Over Drama: Wayne Shocks Amber With Shayla Partnership News! ๐Ÿ˜ก

Wayne didn’t call Amber over for small talk. He had a heavy piece of news, one that he knew would shake the ground beneath her feet.

Wayne: “Amber, sit down for a second. We need to talk.”

Amber: “Okay… What’s going on? You look too serious right now.”

Wayne: “This business—it’s growing. Bigger than both of us sometimes. And we’re gonna need more energy, more talent, more reach if we’re gonna keep up.”

Amber: “Alright, I hear you. What’s the point though? You sound like you’re gearing me up for something I’m not gonna like.”

Wayne: “You right. I ain’t gonna sugarcoat it. The next move… it involves Shayla.”

Amber froze. That one name was enough to flip her mood from calm to heated.

Amber: “Shayla? Wayne, tell me you’re joking. Please say you’re joking.”

Wayne: “I wish I was, but I’m not. She brought in an artist that’s fire. Real talent. And if we’re serious about making this music thing work, we can’t ignore it. That means you and her will be working together.”

Amber: “Nah. Nah, you can’t be serious right now. Out of everybody in this world, you telling me I gotta sit next to Shayla? Do you even know what that girl has done? Do you know the drama between us?”

Wayne: “I know exactly what’s between y’all. But business is business. This ain’t about personal beef, this is about opportunity. You know I keep it real with you, always. That’s why I told you face-to-face.”

Amber: “Keeping it real? Wayne, keeping it real would’ve been protecting me from this mess. You’re basically throwing me in the lion’s den and saying, ‘Handle it.’”

Wayne: “No. I’m saying trust yourself. You’re stronger than the drama. You’re the one who told me not to let anything come between the bag. Don’t let Shayla be the reason we miss out on something major.”

Amber’s jaw tightened. The tension in her eyes was fiery, but underneath it all, she was thinking.

Amber: “So let me get this straight—you want me to sit in meetings, share space, maybe even clap for Shayla’s artist… like we cool? You expect me to fake smiles while she sits across from me?”

Wayne: “I expect you to be the boss you are. This ain’t about her. This ain’t about Anthony. It’s about the vision we building. And you know I wouldn’t even bring this to you if I didn’t believe it was necessary.”

Silence hung for a moment, heavy like thunder before a storm.

Amber: “You know what, Wayne? I hate it. Every piece of me hates this. But you right about one thing—my bag comes first. I’m not about to let Shayla stop me. If she wanna play professional, I’ll play professional. But she step one toe outta line? I’m done.”

Wayne: “That’s all I ask. Business over drama. I’m proud of you, Amber.”

Amber stood, her face still tight, but her words cutting sharp.

Amber: “Don’t be proud yet. Just be ready. Cuz if Shayla tries me, this whole partnership might blow up before it even starts.”

Wayne leaned back, exhaling. He got what he wanted—for now. But the storm between Amber and Shayla was far from over.
