Anthony Catches Amanda Telling Amber: Kai Don’t Even Look Like Anthony!🔥
[Scene: Gym locker room vibes, Amanda and Amber stretching before workout. Anthony walks in quietly, overhearing everything.]
Amanda: (laughs) Girl, you ready to burn some calories?
Amber: Always! I need this workout, stress relief and all.
Amanda: Facts. But before we start… let me just say, Kai is a cutie pie. He is adorable.
Amber: (smiling softly) He really is. Precious little face.
Amanda: Yeah… but sis, and don’t get mad… you really think he look like Anthony?
Amber: (freezes) What? Amanda, what are you saying?
Amanda: I’m just saying… I don’t see Anthony when I look at Kai. The hair, the little red tint… the features. To me, it don’t add up.
Amber: (defensive) Well, Anthony’s mom’s side got Latina roots. Maybe that’s where it comes from. Not everything gotta look exactly like him.
Amanda: True… but come on. You remember Shayla at first was saying Kai was Arby’s.
Amber: (sighs) Yeah, but they did a DNA test. Case closed.
[Anthony, standing just outside, stiffens. His jaw tightens as he hears his name and Kai’s.]
Amanda: Okay, okay. I’m not trying to start no mess. But as your friend, I can’t lie — when I see Kai, I don’t see Anthony.
Amber: (voice cracking) Amanda… don’t do this. Don’t make me question something I already struggle with.
[Anthony steps into the room suddenly, startling them both.]
Anthony: (coldly) Question what, Amber?
Amber: (stammers) Anthony— I— we were just—
Amanda: (puts hands up) Look, don’t get mad. We were just talking.
Anthony: (glaring) Talking? Or doubting my son? Doubting me?
Amanda: (calm but firm) Anthony, I said what I said. Kai don’t look like you. That’s all.
Anthony: (voice rising) You think I need you to tell me what my son looks like? That’s my blood. DNA proved it. End of story.
Amber: (pleading) Anthony, please… she was just running her mouth. Don’t take it to heart.
Anthony: (looking between them, hurt) Running her mouth about my family. That’s not light talk. That’s disrespect.
Amanda: (shrugs) Maybe. But sometimes the truth sound disrespectful.
Anthony: (steps closer, voice low and sharp) Careful, Amanda. You playing with something you don’t understand.
Amber: (near tears) Anthony, please—don’t. It’s not worth it.
[Anthony takes a deep breath, shakes his head, and backs toward the door.]
Anthony: (cold) Next time y’all want to gossip about my son… make sure I ain’t in the room.
[He walks out. Silence hangs heavy. Amanda looks shaken. Amber sits down, holding her head in her hands.]
Amanda: (whispers) …Didn’t expect him to hear that.
Amber: (whispers back) Yeah. But now, we all gonna feel it.
