Wayne to Amber in Front of Anthony: I Need You All Night… You Good With That? πŸ”₯

[Morning sunlight spills into the kitchen. Amber is sipping coffee while Anthony scrolls on his phone. Wayne walks in, cool and confident.]

Wayne: Hey, you.
Amber: Hey. Good morning.
Wayne: Good morning. Did you bring me a coffee?
Amber: Uh… yeah. There’s some over there. You can make it yourself.
Wayne: [smirks] All right. What’s your plans today?
Amber: Catching up on some work. I want to check out a few properties.
Wayne: Mm-hmm. I got a few things to handle myself.

[Anthony looks up, curious. Wayne locks eyes with Amber.]

Wayne: So… Amber M. What’s up? You good?
Amber: I’m good. Beautiful morning, huh?
Wayne: Yeah. But I gotta ask you something important… You got your energy ready for tonight?
Amber: Tonight? Oh—our studio session? Yeah, I’m ready.
Wayne: Good. Because I’m gonna need you in that studio all night. You hear me?

[Anthony freezes mid-sip of coffee, glancing between them.]

Amber: All night? Uh… sure.
Wayne: [leans in slightly] You sure? You sound hesitant. You want to do this or what?
Amber: No, no—of course. I’m in. I can work all night.
Wayne: Good, ‘cause I’m not leaving you alone in this. If I’m putting in the grind, I expect you to match me. Can you?
Amber: Yes. I’ll… I’ll let Ant know, but yeah, I can.

[Anthony shifts in his seat, his jaw tightening.]

Wayne: [raises an eyebrow] Ant? You mean your artist, Anthony?
Amber: No—my husband, Anthony. You know… married people talk.
Wayne: [smirks knowingly] Yeah. Well, just make sure you hit your artist up too. That’s all I care about. See you tonight.
Amber: See you tonight… for work.
Wayne: Damn right.

[Wayne strolls out. A heavy silence fills the room. Anthony sets his cup down slowly.]

Anthony: So… you gonna be up all night?
Amber: For work, yes.
Anthony: [leaning back, studying her] Don’t do that “for work” voice.
Amber: Anthony, I’m serious. It’s just work.
Anthony: You think I feel some type of way?
Amber: I don’t know. Do you?
Anthony: I trust you… but you know how it looks, right? Him saying that—in front of me?
Amber: We’re moving forward, right? We agreed on trust.
Anthony: Yeah… trust. [pauses] But still—he could’ve said that another way.
Amber: Anthony… it’s business. He’s blunt. You know Wayne.
Anthony: Yeah, I know Wayne. That’s the problem.

[They hold each other’s gaze. The tension is thick enough to cut.]

Anthony: You good with staying out all night?
Amber: I’m good. Are you?
Anthony: [sighs] I’ll be fine. Just… remember who you’re coming home to.
Amber: Always.

[Amber takes a slow sip of coffee. Outside, Wayne’s car starts. Anthony stares at the window, jaw tight. Tonight is going to be long—very long.]
