Amber’s Cold Bombshell ๐: Go Back to Shayla and Your Baby… End This Marriage for Good!
[Scene opens in a quiet bedroom. Amber is sitting on the edge of the bed, arms crossed, staring at Anthony who’s pacing back and forth.]
Anthony: (softly) Yeah… what’s going on? You good?
Amber: (shaking her head) No, Anthony. I’m not good. You need to go.
Anthony: (confused) What? Go where? What are you talking about?
Amber: (voice sharp) Back to Shayla. Back to your baby. Back to the life you clearly can’t let go of.
Anthony: (steps closer) Amber, stop. That’s not what this is. You know I love you.
Amber: (bitter laugh) Love me? You think laying in my bed, looking me in the eye, erases the picture I can’t get out of my head? Every time I see you, I see you with her. I see you stretched out in Shayla’s bed. And you know what? I’m done.
Anthony: (shaking his head) No. No, we’re not doing this. You and me? We’re not throwing everything away.
Amber: (snapping) Everything away? Anthony, you already threw it away the moment you chose her over us. The moment you gave her a piece of you that was supposed to belong to me. So let’s just stop pretending. Let’s make it simple—split everything, sign the papers, and move on.
Anthony: (raising his voice) No! Look at me. Our marriage isn’t perfect, Amber. But nothing worth fighting for ever is. You think Shayla makes me happy? You think that’s where I belong? No. You’re the one I want.
Amber: (coldly) Then why does it feel like I’m second place?
Anthony: (desperate) Because I messed up. I messed up bad. But I am not leaving you. I don’t care what you think, what you say—I love you, I’m in love with you, and I’m here for the long haul.
Amber: (tears forming, but hard tone) Words, Anthony. Always words. You say you’re sorry, you say I’m your world—but actions? Your actions scream something else.
Anthony: (stepping closer, voice cracking) I know. That’s why I’ll prove it every single day. If I could tattoo “I’m sorry” across my chest, I’d do it. There is no me without you. If I leave this house, you’re coming with me—to something better. A bigger, more beautiful life.
Amber: (voice trembling, torn) You make it sound so easy.
Anthony: (firmly) Because I mean it. I love you.
Amber: (long pause, whispers) I love you too… but loving you doesn’t erase the hurt.
[Silence fills the room. Amber wipes her face, while Anthony kneels in front of her, refusing to let go.]
Anthony: (quietly) Then let me spend the rest of my life making it right.
Amber: (looking away, voice breaking) We’ll see… but tonight, Anthony, I still feel like you belong to Shayla.
[Scene fades on tension — love hanging in the air, but doubt still heavy between them.]
