You Think You Can Just Walk Out, Anthony?! Not After Sneaking Off with Amber!🔥Shayla Snaps!

[INT. ANTHONY’S APARTMENT – MORNING]

Anthony grabs his car keys off the counter. The air is thick with tension. Shayla stands by the front door, blocking it, arms crossed, jaw clenched, eyes locked onto him like lasers.

SHAYLA
(mocking)
Oh, you think you just gonna grab your keys and walk out like nothing happened?

ANTHONY
(exhales)
Shayla, I really don’t have time for this right now.

SHAYLA
(snaps)
You better make time! You think you can just walk out, Anthony?! Not after sneaking off with Amber!

ANTHONY
(avoids eye contact)
I told you already—I was at the lake house alone. I needed some air.

SHAYLA
(scoffs)
Air? Boy, please. You needed Amber. That’s what you meant, right?

ANTHONY
(sternly)
You don’t know what you’re talking about.

SHAYLA
(laughs bitterly)
Oh, I don’t? Funny, ‘cause I drove all the way to Piarry’s last night. Thought maybe you were there, hiding. But guess what? She just stared at me like a statue and said, “I haven’t seen him.” Not a word more.

ANTHONY
So what?

SHAYLA
So that tells me everything I need to know! Piarry’s silence screamed, Anthony. And then—boom—Amber posts some cute little lake view from the same damn place you posted two weeks ago. Coincidence? I don’t think so.

ANTHONY
(frustrated)
You spying on social media now?

SHAYLA
You hiding in real life! So yeah, I looked. And I saw. And I know. Don’t insult me.

ANTHONY
Shayla, you’re blowing this out of proportion.

SHAYLA
Proportion?! You ghosted me for a whole night. Had me riding through town like a crazy woman, calling your phone, showing up at people’s doors—and now you wanna walk out without saying a damn thing?

ANTHONY
I needed space. And I didn’t want to fight.

SHAYLA
Oh, now you don’t wanna fight? You didn’t seem worried about that when you were curled up at the lake house with your past!

ANTHONY
(voice rising)
It’s complicated, Shayla!

SHAYLA
(steps forward)
No. It’s not. You ran back to what’s comfortable. You left me with questions and silence while she got your attention. Again.

Anthony stands frozen. Shayla’s voice softens, but the pain cuts deeper now.

SHAYLA
You don’t get to walk out, Anthony. Not this time. Not after making me feel like a fool.

She steps aside slightly, but her gaze dares him to move.

SHAYLA
So go ahead—walk through that door. But if you do, don’t ever come back pretending like I didn’t see the truth behind your lies.

Anthony looks at the door, then back at her. He doesn’t move.
