Rumors Swirl: Is Anthony About to Kick Shayla & Baby Kai Out the Apartment?! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

[INT. ANTHONY’S APARTMENT – NIGHT]

The apartment is dimly lit. Shayla sits on the couch feeding Kai a bottle. The air is tense. The front door creaks open—Anthony walks in, his face heavy with emotion and frustration. Shayla looks up, cautious.

SHAYLA:
You home early.

ANTHONY:
Yeah. We need to talk, Shayla.

SHAYLA: (nervously)
About what?

ANTHONY:
About this situation. About us… about this apartment.

SHAYLA:
Okay, I’m listening. What’s on your mind?

ANTHONY: (voice trembling slightly)
I’ve been trying, Shayla. Really trying. But this right here—us living under the same roof—it ain’t working.

SHAYLA: (protectively cradling Kai)
So what you sayin’? You want me gone?

ANTHONY: (paces the floor)
I ain't sayin' it like that. I’m just sayin’… maybe it’s best if you and Kai—y’all go stay somewhere else for now.

SHAYLA: (jaw drops)
Are you serious right now?! You tryna kick me and your son out?

ANTHONY:
He ain’t my son, Shayla. You made that real clear when you told me Arby might be the daddy. You don’t get to throw that on me and expect me to just sit still.

SHAYLA:
Wow. So that’s what this is about? You punishing me ‘cause I was honest?!

ANTHONY: (raises voice)
No! I’m protecting my peace. This whole setup—it’s confusion, Shayla! It’s drama every day. My name in everybody’s mouth, I can’t even think straight.

SHAYLA:
You think it’s easy for me? I’m the one who gave birth. I’m the one carrying all this weight, trying to figure out the truth while still raising Kai. Alone!

ANTHONY:
And that’s exactly why you need to be somewhere you can have real support. I’m not it, Shayla. Not anymore.

SHAYLA: (fighting tears)
So you just gon’ throw us out? Like trash? You think Kai won’t remember this?

ANTHONY: (voice cracking)
Don’t do that. Don’t twist it. I love that boy… even if he ain’t mine. But love ain’t enough when everything else is breaking me down.

SHAYLA:
Where we even supposed to go, huh? I got no job, no savings. You think I’m just gonna pack up with a baby in my arms and smile?

ANTHONY: (softly)
I’ll help you get on your feet. I ain’t abandoning y’all. I just… can’t live like this no more.

SHAYLA: (furious)
Nah, you made your choice. Don’t worry, Anthony. We’ll be outta here by the morning. And don’t come looking for us when the silence gets too loud.

ANTHONY: (whispers)
I already hear it, Shayla… every night.
