I’m LOST Without You! — Anthony REFUSES to Leave Amber’s Porch After BEGGING for Forgiveness! π
[Scene: Amber steps out onto her porch, stunned to see Anthony sitting there, looking broken.]
Amber:
Anthony. Anthony! Yo… What are you doing here?
Anthony:
Just… taking a nap.
Amber (shaking her head):
I see that, but why are you on this porch? I thought you left when I left. Why are you here?
Anthony:
Because I don’t have anywhere else to go, Amber. Not really. Not when my whole world is here… with you.
Amber:
Anthony, come on. Don’t do this. You need to go. This isn’t helping anything.
Anthony:
What am I supposed to do out there, huh? Live a life without a heart? Because my heart is here—you’re my heart, Amber.
Amber (crossing her arms):
You should’ve thought about all of that before you slept with my best friend. Before you went and had a baby behind my back.
Anthony (voice trembling):
I know. I know I messed up. I did some foolish, selfish, unforgivable things. But none of them—not one—hurt me more than the look on your face when you found out. Amber, I regret all of it. Every second with Shayla, every lie I told, everything I threw away.
Amber:
That’s easy to say now, isn’t it? When you’re sitting here broken and alone. Where was all this love when I was begging you to show up? When I cried myself to sleep?
Anthony:
I was blind. I was stupid. And I didn’t realize what I had until it was gone. You told me earlier, “If you love me, let me go.” And I heard you. I did. But how can I let you go when everything in me is screaming to hold on?
Amber (voice hardening):
Anthony, love isn’t enough. Not anymore. You tore something in me I don’t even know how to repair.
Anthony:
Then let me help you fix it. Let me earn it back—day by day. You don’t have to take me back today. Just… don’t push me away forever. I want to protect you, love you, honor you like our vows said. I failed you, but I’m not done trying.
Amber (tearing up but holding firm):
You can’t just camp out here with promises. That’s not how this works. I need peace, Anthony. Not chaos. Not reminders of betrayal sitting on my steps.
Anthony (standing up slowly):
I understand. But I needed you to hear it. To know I’m not walking away like before. You’re my everything, Amber. I don’t want you—I need you. And I’ll wait. Even if it’s from a distance. I’ll wait.
Amber (turning toward the door, voice soft):
You need to leave, Anthony. Please… just go.
Anthony (voice breaking):
Alright. But I’m not giving up. Not on you. Not on us.
[Amber closes the door slowly behind her. Anthony looks down at the porch one last time, then walks away into the night.]
